Prof. Detlef van Vuuren is a Professor of Integrated Assessment of Global Environmental Change at Utrecht University's Faculty of Geosciences and a senior researcher at the PBL Netherlands Environmental Assessment Agency, leading the IMAGE integrated assessment modeling team. His research focuses on climate change, sustainability scenarios, and integrated assessment models to inform policy. He holds a PhD from Utrecht University and has contributed extensively to IPCC reports and global sustainability frameworks.
