Detlef F. Sprinz

Detlef F. Sprinz is a Senior Scientist at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK), Germany, and a Professor at the University of Potsdam's Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. He leads the 2024-2025 project AMaReNa - A Market for the Restoration of Nature, focusing on carbon removals, and has held prestigious roles including Lead Author of the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report (2022).
