Desirée Sabatini

Desirée Sabatini is an Associate Professor in Performing Arts at Link Campus University in Rome. Since 2021, she serves as the Rector's Delegate for Gender Issues and President of the Single Guarantee Committee (CUG). She holds a prominent role in academic administration and research.

Her research focuses on digital technologies applied to theatre history, audiovisual documentation of theatrical heritage, and live performances in unconventional cultural spaces. She explores the intersection of science, technology, and performing arts through digital archiving and restoration projects.

Key research initiatives include coordinating the CITY OPEN MUSEUM project (funded via PNRR) and the I_PAD Prin project on Italian performance archives. She also leads the Rome group for the FreeBeRI ERASMUS+ project on freedom of belief and information rights.

Professional memberships include the board of Dites (Digital Technologies, Education, and Society), Alizé Center for European Studies, and the Alessandro Fersen Foundation's Scientific Committee.
