Deniz Bayav

Deniz Bayav is a Turkish contemporary visual artist and Professor at Trakya University's Faculty of Fine Arts since 2018. His work explores natural cycles, decay processes, and existential themes through oil painting, mixed media, and environmental art. Active internationally since the early 2000s, he has participated in numerous biennials and art fairs across Europe, Mexico, and the Middle East.

Bayav's research focuses on environmental transformation and existential symbolism in contemporary painting. His recent works like Infinite Reinvention (2021) and Kuskuta (2023) examine material synthesis and philosophical interpretations of natural processes through abstract compositions.

Scientific awards include the 30th DYO Painting Prize (2002) and recognition at the 6th International Painting Competition of Ege Hasta Derneği (2009). His international presence spans biennials in Mexico, Ecuador, and Bosnia, with recurring participation in Istanbul and Ankara art fairs.
