Debi Koetzle

Dr. Deborah Koetzle is Professor in the Department of Criminal Justice and PhD faculty at John Jay College of Criminal Justice, City University of New York. She earned her doctorate in Criminal Justice from the University of Cincinnati.

Her research focuses on effective offender interventions, problem-solving courts, risk/need assessments, and social media use by police departments. She consults with criminal justice agencies on assessment, treatment, and quality assurance in institutional and community-based programs. Currently, she collaborates with the National Association of Drug Court Professionals to develop evidence-based standards for adult drug courts.
