Dr. Debarun Dutta is a Senior Lecturer and Lead for Contact Lens Education at the School of Optometry, Aston University, UK. He holds roles in the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) and the British & Irish University and College Contact Lens Educators (BUCCLE). His expertise spans contact lens compliance, ocular surface diseases, and antimicrobial strategies. Dr. Dutta has supervised eight PhD students and mentored six postdoctoral researchers. He actively reviews grants for UKRI, MRC, and international bodies.
