Deanna Rivers

Deanna Rivers is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Victoria's Faculty of Law, where she has taught Succession and Estate Planning since 2012. She holds an LL.B. from UVic (1995) and was called to the British Columbia bar in 1996. Her legal practice focuses on estate planning, probate, litigation preparation, and conveyancing. In addition to her academic and legal work, Rivers has 15 years of military service and has received several honors, including UN and Canadian peacekeeping medals. She is actively involved in community organizations such as Scouts Canada and minor lacrosse.
