DeShun Harris

DeShun Harris is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Law and Director of Bar Preparation at the University of Memphis School of Law, where she has been on faculty since July 2018. She specializes in developing programs to enhance analytical skills for bar exam success and legal practice.

• LL.M. in Law and Government from American University, Washington College of Law
• J.D. from Texas Tech University School of Law (summa cum laude)
• B.A. in Political Science from Baylor University

Her research and teaching interests span educational psychology, assessment, and critical race theory, with a focus on improving bar exam preparation methodologies. Prior to her role at Memphis, she served as Director of Academic Success and Bar Services Program at Texas A&M University School of Law.
