Alberto De Franceschi is a Full Professor of Private Law at the University of Ferrara and holds global academic roles including Global Law Professor at KU Leuven (Belgium) and Visiting Professor at Zhejiang University (China). His expertise spans Digital Law, Environmental Sustainability, and EU Consumer Protection. He chairs the European Law Institute’s Digital Law and Sustainability Special Interest Groups, awarded as top SIGs (2019–2022).
