David Vaught

David Vaught is a Professor of History at Texas A&M University, affiliated with the College of Liberal Arts. He joined the department in 1997 after receiving his Ph.D. in History from the University of California, Davis. His work bridges American rural history, labor studies, and baseball history.

• Rural and labor history, including agricultural labor dynamics
• Social and cultural history of baseball in America

Current Projects: Writing a biography of Baseball Hall of Fame pitcher Bob Feller.
