David Sedaris

David Sedaris is an acclaimed author and humorist known for works such as Barrel Fever, Naked, and Me Talk Pretty One Day. While primarily recognized for his literary contributions and radio commentaries on Public Radio International's This American Life, Sedaris has also taught writing at the Art Institute of Chicago. His sardonic writing style and social critique have made him a prominent figure in contemporary satire and essay writing.

Research interests include creative writing, satirical literature, and social commentary through humor. His collaborations with his sister Amy Sedaris under The Talent Family have produced plays like One Woman Shoe, which received an Obie Award. Sedaris currently resides in Paris.
