David Rooney

David Rooney is a Professor and Dean of Internationalisation and Reputation at Queen's University Belfast's School of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering. His research focuses on energy systems at the intersection of renewable energy, agri-tech, and manufacturing, addressing climate change and net-zero goals. He actively supervises PhD students in areas like sustainable aviation fuels, carbon removal, and biochar systems.
