David R. Stras

David R. Stras is an Adjunct Faculty Member at the University of Iowa. He currently serves as a Justice on the Minnesota Supreme Court, appointed in 2010 and elected to a six-year term in 2012. He clerked for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth and Fourth Circuits and Justice Clarence Thomas of the U.S. Supreme Court. Professor Stras will teach a Supreme Court Seminar in the 2021 Fall semester.
