David Penny

Dr David Penny is a Senior Lecturer and Programme Leader for BA/MA Photography at the School of Digital Arts (SODA), Manchester Metropolitan University. With extensive experience in delivering undergraduate and postgraduate courses, he specializes in practice-based PhD supervision and critical exploration of photography's boundaries.

• Research Focus: Examines material remnants of technologies, using traditional/digital image-making, sculpture, animation, and 3D printing
• Exhibitions: Highlights include Screen for Another Focus (2018), A Quality of Distance (2015), and Fragments, Monoliths, Portals (2014)
