David P. Weber

David P. Weber is a Professor of Accounting and Legal Studies at Salisbury University's Perdue School of Business. He holds a DBA (2023) in Accounting and Organizational Behavior from the University of Florida, JD (1998) from Syracuse University College of Law, and BS (1995) in Criminal Justice from Syracuse University. His expertise focuses on forensic accounting, fraud examination, and anti-money laundering strategies. Dr. Weber previously served in high-ranking federal roles, including Chief Investigator at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission and Chief of Enforcement Unit I at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation. He currently chairs the Virginia State Bar Board of Governors for the Eastern Shore of Chesapeake Bay.
