David Nichol

David Nichol is an Assistant Professor of Education at Northumbria University, UK, and a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (SFHEA). His research focuses on academic identity development, collaborative pedagogies, and the use of simulations to enhance educator preparedness in higher and school education contexts. He leads academic development programs in the Post Compulsory Education and Training (PCET) sector and has been recognized with a Collaborative Award for Teaching Excellence (2024).
