David McCarthy

Professor David McCarthy is a faculty member in the Art and Art History department at Rhodes College. He specializes in American, Modern, and Contemporary art with interdisciplinary connections to Gender and Sexuality Studies and Media Studies. Publication Trends: Analyzes art's role in societal discourse through monographs on the nude in 20th-century America, Pop art's political dimensions, and antiwar artistic traditions.
