David Mayer, DACM, LAc., ACSM-CPT, NASM-CNC, is a clinician at the NUHS Whole Health Center (Lombard) since 2021 and a lecturer in the acupuncture department since 2022. He also operates DuPage Acupuncture Clinic in Naperville (opened 2016), specializing in managing cancer treatment side effects, neuromusculoskeletal pain, sleep/stress disorders, digestive issues, women’s health, and facial rejuvenation. He has assisted in over 17 successful fertility cases indirectly through acupuncture care.
Education highlights include: BS/MS in Geology (Northern Illinois University, 1989/1994), MSOM in Oriental Medicine (National University of Health Sciences, 2015), and DAc (Pacific College of Health Sciences, 2020).
