David Martinez is an Associate Professor in the Department of Classics at The University of Chicago, affiliated with both the Divinity School and The College. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. His research focuses on Greek papyrology, paleography, Hellenistic authors, early Christian literature, and the Hellenistic background of the New Testament.
