Dr. David Hollis is a Lecturer in Organisation Studies and Research Ethics Lead at the Management School, The University of Sheffield. He holds a PhD and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA). His interdisciplinary research merges organization studies and communication theory, focusing on power dynamics, leadership, gender, and exploitation. Key outputs include publications in Organization Studies and MIT Sloan Management Review, alongside chapters in leading handbooks. Recognized at EGOS and Academy of Management conferences, his work explores themes like facial beauty’s performative power and communicative authority.
