David Giblin

David Giblin is an Associate Professor in the School of Mechanical, Aerospace and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Connecticut. He joined the Department of Mechanical Engineering in 2013 and has been actively involved in teaching and research since then.

• Bachelor of Science (BS), University of Connecticut (2002)
• Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), University of Connecticut (2007)

His research focuses on manipulation theory and control of mechanical systems, with applications in robotics and automation. He teaches undergraduate courses in kinematics, dynamics, and programming, while also advising students at the Avery Point campus across various engineering disciplines.
