David Draper is a Professor of Forensic Psychology at The Chicago School's Anaheim campus. With over 25 years of higher education experience, he previously served as Chair of Psychology and Criminal Justice at Marymount California University, holding additional roles including Associate Dean of Students and Director of Counseling Services. He holds a PsyD from Ryokan College and an MA from Antioch University.
Dr. Draper's research focuses on clinical and forensic psychology, specializing in adolescent development, LGBTQ+ mental health, and co-occurring disorders. As a licensed marriage and family therapist for nearly 30 years, his clinical expertise includes crisis counseling and treatment of mental illness in young adults.
He maintains professional memberships with the American Psychological Association and California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, and volunteers with the Palos Verdes Conservancy.
