Dr. David Ditchburn is an Associate Professor in Medieval History at Trinity College Dublin, specializing in later medieval Scotland's international connections. He holds a position in the Department of History and serves as Principal Investigator on the Irish Chancery Rolls Project, while co-editing The Scottish Historical Review. His research examines commercial, religious, and political links between Scotland and Europe, including saintly cults, pilgrimage networks, and diplomatic relations.
