David Dickey, Ph.D., is an Associate Professor in the Psychology Department at Liberty University's School of Behavioral Sciences. A retired Air Force officer with 28 years of service, he held leadership roles in military mental health programs including faculty positions at the psychology residency training program at Andrews Air Force Base and Deputy Director of that program. His career focused on deployment mental health, resiliency initiatives, and behavioral health consultation for Air Force Special Operations Command.

Dr. Dickey has deployed to Baghdad, Guantanamo Bay, and the United Arab Emirates, contributing to numerous mental health initiatives in operational settings.
