David Del Rey Fernandez is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Waterloo. He holds the Pratt & Whitney Canada Research Chair in Industrial Artificial Intelligence, serves as Associate Director of the Waterloo Institute for Sustainable Aeronautics, and is a Research Cluster Lead (Modelling) for the Future Cities Institute.
