David Clifton

David Clifton is a Lecturer in the Visual Arts Department at the University of North Georgia (UNG), where he has taught since 2016. He specializes in digital arts, including two-dimensional/three-dimensional design, animation, virtual reality, and digital photography. Clifton advises the Game Development Club and mentors students in their senior capstone exhibitions. He holds an M.F.A. in Computer Art from Savannah College of Art & Design (2002) and a B.F.A. in Fine Art from Indiana State University (1998). Before joining UNG, he taught at Western Piedmont Community College for a decade.

Advising & Engagement: He leads the Game Development Club and supports students through their capstone projects. His mentorship is highlighted by student praise for his dedication to fostering creative innovation.
