David Castillo

David Castillo is an Adjunct Professor at the School of Earth and Oceans, University of Western Australia. He serves as a Technical Advisory Team Board Member for JAMSTEC, focusing on geomechanical insights for deep-sea drilling in the Nankai Trough Subduction Zone. His expertise includes real-time geomechanics during IODP expeditions, particularly Expedition 358 aboard the R/V Chikyu.
