About
David Broom is a Professor of Physical Activity, Exercise and Health at Coventry University, affiliated with the Department of Clinical Exercise Science within the Centre for Physical Activity, Sport and Exercise Sciences. His research focuses on exercise and nutritional interventions to address obesity and energy balance, with expertise in home-based exercise programs. He contributed to the 2019 UK Physical Activity Guidelines as part of the Chief Medical Officers’ expert group and served as former Chair of the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences Division of Physical Activity for Health.
