David Biskup is a Senior Lecturer in the BA (Hons) Illustration program at Ravensbourne University London. He is an award-winning illustrator and cartoonist known for bold, colorful, and playful illustrations that address serious themes through humor and approachability. His work spans international clients including Apple, Google, The New Yorker, and The Guardian.
Research interests focus on using visual mediums to explore human experiences – particularly chronic illness narratives in his graphic memoir 'There’s Only One Place This Road Ends Up' (ELCAF Award 2019). His comics appear in MIT Technology Review, Le Monde Diplomatique, and a weekly De Morgen political column since 2021.
Recent work includes The New Yorker's 'Running: A Success Story' (2021) and collaborations with A Bathing Ape (2022). Currently developing a graphic novel about romance in modern dating.
