David Anastasiu is an Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Engineering department at Santa Clara University. He previously served as an Assistant Professor at San José State University. His research focuses on machine learning, data mining, computational genomics, and high-performance computing. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Minnesota under George Karypis and holds a B.A. in Bible/Theology from Moody Bible Institute.

Recent projects include the LSPM and PFformer models for long-term time series analysis, and the AI City Challenge for urban analytics.
