David A. Erickson is a Teaching Professor and Director of the nationally ranked Trial Advocacy Program at Chicago-Kent College of Law, Illinois Institute of Technology. He also serves as Co-Director of the Program in Criminal Litigation and directs the Rule of Law initiative in Mexico. His expertise includes criminal law, evidence, trial advocacy, and ethics. Since 2006, he has been a full-time faculty member, coaching the National Trial Advocacy Team to four National Championships and numerous regional titles. He previously served as a Cook County prosecutor, judge, and First Assistant State’s Attorney.
