Dave Salay

Dave Salay is Instructor of Percussion at Loyola University New Orleans and has been a member of the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra since 2007. He performs with the Tulane Summer Theater Lyric Theater during summers and teaches at the Greater New Orleans Youth Orchestra Young Artist Academy.

His performance career includes roles as Principal Percussionist with the West Virginia Symphony and performances with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Fort Wayne Philharmonic, Canton Symphony, and Erie Philharmonic. He holds a Bachelor of Music from Cleveland State University where he studied with Tom Freer of the Cleveland Orchestra.
