Dr Darren Rowland is an Adjunct Research Fellow in the Chemical Engineering department at University of Western Australia (UWA) and holds an Honorary Research Fellow position at Murdoch University. His research focuses on thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and energy systems, with contributions to sustainable development goals related to climate change and energy efficiency. He leads the Deep Ocean Thermodynamics and Climate Change project and collaborates on industry-driven initiatives like the Microscale LNG Plant and Australian LNG Futures Facility.
