Darrell G. Mottley

Darrell G. Mottley serves as a Professorial Lecturer in Law at the George Washington University Law School. He is also an intellectual property attorney at Banner & Witcoff, Ltd. in Washington, DC, where he has practiced since 2000, specializing in patent, copyright, and trademark law.

He holds a BS and MBA from Virginia Tech University and a JD from George Washington University.

Mr. Mottley's expertise lies in Intellectual Property Law, with specific focus on Patent Law, Copyright Law, and Trademark Law. He contributes to the field as editor-in-chief of the American Bar Association's Landslide magazine and as a contributing author to the Annual Review of Intellectual Property Law Developments.

He is a past president of the District of Columbia Bar and a current member of the Council of the American Bar Association Section of Intellectual Property Law.
