Darius Johnson

Darius Johnson is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Georgia State University's College of Education & Human Development, specializing in urban teacher preparation, anti-oppressive pedagogical practices, and culturally responsive teaching. With over 10 years of K-12 teaching experience across public, charter, and parochial schools in Atlanta, Chicago, and Charlotte, he contributes to teacher education through the CREATE (Collaboration and Reflection to Enhance Atlanta Teacher Effectiveness) program. His research investigates how teacher preparation programs foster anti-oppressive identities and how educators implement equitable leadership practices.
