Darius Benton

Dr. Darius Benton is an Associate Professor at the University of Houston–Downtown in the College of Arts and Communication. His academic work focuses on organizational culture, leadership, and communication across educational and religious contexts. He earned a Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University, a Master of Divinity from Emory University, and a BS in Mass Communications from Norfolk State University.

Dr. Benton's research explores organizational culture and leadership dynamics in educational and religious settings. His teaching responsibilities include core courses for the BA in Corporate Communication and MA in Strategic Communication, such as Beginning Public Speaking, Communication in Organizations, and Training and Development.
