Darin Wipf

Darin Wipf is an Instructor in the Ness School of Management and Economics at South Dakota State University (SDSU). He holds a B.A. in Economics from SDSU (1993) and an M.P.A. in Accounting from the University of South Dakota (1997). With 15 years of professional experience, he has worked as an auditor at Ernst & Young, a bank examiner at the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, and a financial analyst at Sprint.

His academic responsibilities focus on teaching core accounting courses, including Principles of Accounting (Acct 210/211), Intermediate Accounting (Acct 310), and Auditing (Acct 450). He maintains a 100% teaching appointment and is actively involved in university committees. Professional memberships include the American Accounting Association and the South Dakota CPA Society.
