Darcie Dennigan

Darcie Dennigan is Associate Professor In Residence in the Department of English at the University of Connecticut, College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. She holds an MFA in Poetry from the University of Michigan (2002) and a BA in English from University of Massachusetts, Amherst (1998).

Her creative practice spans poetry, experimental fiction, and performance texts, with specializations in nature writing, absurdist traditions, and hybrid literary forms. She has received numerous awards including the Howard Foundation Fellowship and Poetry Society of America prizes.

Her performance collaborations include works with Wilbury Theatre Group and composer Jason Thorpe Buchanan, exploring themes through innovative theatrical forms and operatic adaptations.
