Daniela Dover is an Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles. Her research and teaching focus on ethics, moral psychology, and social and political philosophy, with specific interests in curiosity, love, conversation, hypocrisy, moral criticism, and interpersonal influence.
Research and Projects
- She is currently working on two book projects: The Democratic Soul: Philosophy and the Politics of Soul-Making (interactions between self-conception and democratic community) and Freedom and Futurity: Ethics after Simone de Beauvoir (co-authored with Jonathan Gingerich, exploring Beauvoir’s moral philosophy and metaethics).
