Daniel W. Bishop

Daniel W. Bishop is a Professor of Counselor Education at Concordia University Chicago, affiliated with the College of Health, Science & Technology. He has been a faculty member since 2004, teaching graduate-level courses such as introduction to counseling, counseling theory, assessment, research, brief therapy, clinicals, and addictions.

His research focuses on brief therapy, treatment outcomes, addictions, and the stigma of mental illnesses. He actively integrates these interests into his teaching and clinical practice.
