Dee Strbiak

Dee Strbiak is a Lecturer at Naropa University, affiliated with the Department of Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She holds a PsyD in clinical and industrial/organizational psychology, an MA in clinical psychology, and a BS in industrial/organizational psychology.

Dr. Strbiak specializes in clinical psychology, chemical dependency, trauma, and workplace violence prevention, with over 30 years of professional experience. She integrates mindfulness-based transpersonal counseling into her practice and maintains a small private practice as a Licensed Professional Counselor. Additionally, she is a Certified Addiction Specialist and Masters Addiction Counselor.

Her professional accolades include a Diplomate distinction from the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress. Outside academia, she is an accomplished woodturner and artist.
