Daniel Rey

Daniel Rey is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Department of Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution at Texas A&M University's College of Engineering. His academic background includes a B.S. in Industrial Distribution from Texas A&M University (1990). Before academia, he held senior leadership roles in industry, serving as President of BPS Oil and Gas and retiring as Senior Vice President after 27 years at Nalco Water. His professional experience bridges engineering technology with industrial practices. Rey's office is located in Fermier Hall on the Texas A&M campus. His scholarly contributions span film studies and gender/queer theory, evidenced by his peer-reviewed articles analyzing European art cinema, Ingmar Bergman's work, and queer representation in horror films.
