Daniel R. Olson

Dr. Daniel R. Olson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Basic Sciences at National University of Health Sciences. He transitioned to this role in 2022 after 36 years at Northern Illinois University (NIU), where he also earned his Ed.D. in Adult Continuing Education. He concurrently served as an adjunct professor at Benedictine University. His expertise lies in gross anatomy, neurobiology, and pedagogical strategies for anatomy education. Dr. Olson emphasizes critical thinking and relationship-building in teaching, fostering inclusive classrooms focused on student success.
