Daniel Cybulski

Daniel Cybulski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Previously serving as Head of the Painting Department (2020-2024), he currently holds the position of Vice-Dean for Painting. His doctoral thesis was supervised by Prof. Krzysztof Gliszczyński.

Cybulski's artistic practice centers on the painting medium, exploring objectivity of art, structural composition, spatial impact, and fundamental values like color, light, and technological solutions. His work engages with themes of 'excessive image', 'naturalness of oblivion', and 'basic sounds', creating impression-driven installations that defy verbal translation.

Recognition includes:

• Minister of Culture Award for Best Diplomas

His international exhibitions span venues in Berlin, Zagreb, Warsaw, Kraków, and Lviv, with works in collections of the National Museum in Gdańsk and State Art Gallery in Sopot.
