Daniel Chartrand, MD, PhD, FRCPC is an Associate Professor and Vice-Chairman of the Department of Anesthesia at McGill University's Faculty of Medicine. He is affiliated with The Neuro (Montreal Neurological Institute-Hospital), which operates as a McGill research and teaching institute and delivers patient care as part of the Neuroscience Mission of the McGill University Health Centre.
Dr. Chartrand's research interests focus on patient safety, anesthesia, medical education, and neuroscience. His work spans healthcare quality improvement, neuroimaging applications in neurodegenerative disorders, and medication safety protocols.
