Daniel Bor is a Visiting Professor and neuroscientist at the University of Cambridge's Department of Psychology and Consciousness and Cognition Lab. His primary research examines the effects of drowsiness and conscious level on cognition using MEG, fMRI and structural imaging techniques, particularly in relation to aging and Alzheimer's disease.
His research spans consciousness, working memory, attention, intelligence, strategic processing and synaesthesia. He has extensively used neuroimaging techniques including fMRI, PET and TMS, with particular focus on prefrontal and parietal cortices. Bor has also explored cognitive training as both an experimental tool and potential clinical application.
