Professor Dana Hyde is an Executive in Residence at the Telfer School of Management, University of Ottawa. She teaches in the BCom, Executive MBA, and MBA programs, focusing on International Business, General Management, Strategy, and Management Consulting.
Education: Honors BA (Business Administration) and MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business (University of Western Ontario), and a PhD in Management from INSEAD (Fontainebleau, France), specializing in corporate strategy and strategic/organizational change in multinational firms.
Research interests include corporate entrepreneurship, multinational firms, and the interplay between strategy and organizational structures. Her work spans consulting and research with multinational organizations across Europe, the US, and Canada, with over 25 years of global experience.
Professor Hyde has authored/co-authored over 20 teaching case studies, including worldwide bestsellers recognized with international awards. She serves on the US Board of Directors of The Case Centre, promoting case-method education globally.
Previous academic roles include faculty positions at Babson College (entrepreneurial education leader) and Ivey School of Business, where she earned a teaching award. Her career combines academia with extensive international consulting experience.
