Dan Talpan

Dan Talpan serves as a Violin Lecturer at the PreCollege level at the University of Music Würzburg since 1999. He simultaneously holds leadership positions as conductor of the Youth Symphony Orchestra at Obernburg Municipal Music School since 1997 and head of the string department at Heilbronn Municipal Music School since 2005.

Mr. Talpan's professional expertise spans Violin Performance, Early Musical Education, and Orchestral Training. His career reflects a seamless integration of performance excellence and pedagogical dedication across multiple institutional settings.

As a performer, he maintains active roles as concertmaster of both the "Camerata Obernburg" and "Unterfränkische Philharmonie," while also directing and performing as standing violinist with the salon orchestra "Fleur." His orchestral credentials include service as first violinist with the Kronstadt State Philharmonic since 1980, membership in the Nuremberg Symphony Orchestra, and performances at the Regensburg City Theater.
