Associate Professor Damon Kent is affiliated with the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), where he holds the position of Associate Professor of Engineering Sciences within the School of Science, Technology and Engineering. He received his BEng (Hons), MPhil, and PhD from The University of Queensland. As Program Coordinator for the Mechanical Engineering program, he focuses on integrating teaching and research.
His research interests span advanced materials development for medical, aerospace, and automotive applications, including metallic alloys, phase transformations, powder metallurgy, and additive manufacturing.
