Nicholas Stevens

Associate Professor Nicholas Stevens is an urbanist and social scientist at the University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC), leading in Urban Design and Town Planning within the School of Law and Society. He holds a PhD, MUrbRegPlan, and BBuiltEnv in Landscape Architecture from UniSC. His roles include Program Coordinator for Urban Design and Town Planning programs and Co-Lead of the Bioclimatic and Sociotechnical Cities Lab (BASC Lab). Stevens specializes in sociotechnical systems, airport planning, and sustainable infrastructure, with a focus on urban resilience and adaptive design.
